Thank you all for supporting my mental health maintenance project. For those who don’t know me...I wanted to share a little background. I am a mom to 4 great kids ranging in age from 17-32. I finished a PhD in nursing in 2017 and have a full time job as an Professor at a local University. I started playing with wood projects in 2017 as a form of “therapy” and a way to occupy my mind with something other than work. I have built tables, outdoor furniture, farmhouse beds etc. When I purchased my laser in October 2020 I intended to use it for personal crafting and gifts. As I started to share what I was doing, people started asking for personalized items. I found that I not only loved creating these items, but I loved the stories that came with the requests. I’m not perfect but I am learning every day and hope to offer some new ideas throughout the year. Thanks again for supporting my mental health as I have truly found something I love doing.
